Licensing questions schools often ask
Are there annual licence fees?
No. Eduplay school licences are purchased once and do not carry annual or recurring licence fees.
How long can the school use the software?
The software can continue to be used on the licensed computers while those computers and their installations remain intact.
Can a licence be moved to another computer?
Licences are linked to the computer where the software is registered and are not transferable between computers or to private individuals.
What happens when a computer is replaced or formatted?
Formatting, replacing a hard drive, or making certain hardware changes can affect that computer's licence. A replacement licence can be purchased at the school's original purchase price, subject to applicable terms.
Does the software require sound?
Some instructional activities, especially for younger learners, use audio. Schools should provide speakers or headphones where these activities will be used.
